![]() While McLaren hasn't said how much the 765LT will cost, we think it'll start at about $75,000 more than the base 720S. when the 2021 765LT goes on sale at the end of this year. The company says it plans to produce 765 cars around the globe, with about 30 to 40 percent of those expected to be earmarked for the U.S. While it shares a lot with the regular 720S, the LT also inherits bits and pieces from the almighty McLaren Senna. McLaren gives the Longtail treatment to the already incredible 720S for 2021, and the result is the slightly longer, considerably lighter, and intentionally more hardcore 765LT. The 2021 765LT isn't for the faint of heart, and it's even more expensive than its shorter sibling, but that money help make it move quicker and corner sharper. While its interior can be stripped down for further weight reduction, it remains a driver's paradise thanks to fantastic outward visibility and only the most essential controls. It shares a hollow-eyed expression, lightweight construction, and eminently customizable properties with the McLaren 720S. The letters in its name stand for Longtail, which indicates this McLaren means serious business. The latter constitutes a 755-hp twin-turbo V-8 that roars like a lion in heat. The McLaren 720S is now a proper supercar through all the upgrades which were installed by the MANHART tuning.The McLaren 765LT is a track-focused exotic sports car that weighs less than 3000 pounds and basically bolts a nuclear reactor behind its passengers. ![]() This design is inspired from a McLaren P1 by MSO. The back diffuser and the spoiler edge received a flashy touch. Three red lines are added on the engine’s hood to underline its edges. ![]() To complete this design, a circle line is going from the mirror caps through the back of car. The deep parts of the doors display a gradation of the Volcano Red which looks exceptional and fits the slender design shape of the side. The door arches are also contrasted in red to add more presence and be in the continuity of the front stripes, which goes on till the engine compartment. The carbon side winglets are surrounded in red similar to the carbon intakes on the hollows of the engine hood. The carbon mirror caps get a little stripe to divide them in two parts. The wheel’s trims are in red featured with some touches on the spokes. Two red stripes accentuate the hood close to the intakes given by it’s shape. The edges of the front bumper are underlined with red as well. At the front, the bottom trim of the lights get a red touch. Actually, the colour accent which has been chosen to match the little monograms on the car is Volcano red. The second design is more outstanding and flashy. These few gold touches make the 720S a bit different without being too shiny. The back is adorned by gold lines on the diffuser’s edge and bumper’s edge, which create a stunning visual detail. To underline the shape of the side wings, the MANHART stripe is following it’s curve. A gold line has been added on the edge of the front diffuser as well. From the front, the main stripe which crosses the car is gold. To get that, MANHART put a classic livery with gold accents to match perfectly with the black body color. The first design is focused on discretion and classy appeal. Moreover, MANHART created two designs for the car, which greatly represents both our qualities of doing outstanding and flashy cars and discretion or understatement cars. It is now the only 720S on the market that spits flames in the Hot Start Mode. The 720S which lacks a bit of natural character and drama was given a newly developed MANHART exhaust system. Despite that, it still remains a great cruiser although having the heart of a supercar.
